Abstract
Bu derleme şilotoraksın nasıl oluştuğunu, nasıl tespit edildiğini ve tedavi seçeneklerinin ve sonuçlarının güncel durumunu ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Şilotoraks şilöz sıvının pleural boşlukta birikmesidir. Nadir görülen bir durum olup kedilerde, köpeklerde ve farelerde görülmüştür. Etiyolojisi değişik olup birçok neden hastalığın oluşmasına sebep olmaktadır ancak genellikle idiyopatik görülmektedir. Uygulanılan medikal tedavi ya da cerrahi müdahale ile hastalık geriletilebilmektedir ancak yinede bu hastalık için prognoz iyi değildir.

Abstract
This review was performed to determine how chylothorax was formed, how it was detected, and the current status of treatment options and outcomes. Chylothorax is seen in the pleural space of chylous fluid. It is a rare condition seen in cats, dogs and mice. Its etiology is different and causes many diseases, but it is usually idiopathic. With the treatments, the disease can be regressed but the prognosis for this disease is not high.
